Sytak, a Sydney based graffiti artist, required a book to document all his work from 2004, as part of an ongoing series. The work was from exactly one year, so I decided to make time the over-riding theme of the book. The book includes a graph tracking productivity over the 12 months.
Also included in the design was a key that when aligned to the base of the page and the edge of the image reveals the type of work, and the duration taken to complete it. This key adds a unique level of interactivity that brings another level of understanding to the clandestine work.
The black debossed hard cover contrast the colourful work enclosed and reflects the hard to decipher nature of graffiti.
